How is matte screen better than glossy screen w/ screen protector? In price and in terms of what you get.

Touch screens often have glass. Matte screens typically don't.

I once tried matte film on a glossy MacBook Pro. I found it difficult to install inasmuch as every microscopic dust particle caused a bubble in the film. Although I thought that my screen was absolutely dust-free when I started the install I was wrong, and my results were awful.
