The headband on my HP Bluetooth Noise Canceling Headphones is about to snap down the middle? They're warrantying it for me, for a second time. Its a known issue and I know it'll happen on the next pair.

Anybody have a fix for the broken set and maybe a prevent for the new? I was already extremely careful, I mean like some taped on support or something???

A lot of people really stretch their headphones when putting them on.

It could be a factor - even studio headphones (especially the Sennheiser HD 280) are not immune to this problem sometimes.

    +rep. THANKS.

Anybody with any real mechanical fixes? I don't even care about headphones to spend money on them. These were a freebie from HP and I'd like to keep this last pair from cracking before its out of warranty, and possibly fix the old pair that's ready to split. By the way, they charge $80 for these things. Used to be $150. We all know why the price dropped: the headband is crap.

Even so, if I can fix this headband I'll be happy.
