Hello everyone!
Everything is very easy if you have a pair of hands, solderer, flux, desoldering pump, and magical silent switches. All of these you can buy online almost for nothing.
Teardown your mouse, change original switches to silent ones. Remember, that one of the three legs is useless (see the marks on the textolite).
That is it! No one will be annoyed by clicking sound from no on!
Be careful if you use solderer for the first time:
1. It is always good to watch some Youtube videos first;
2. Do not overheat textolite or components. During soldering things, apply heat no more than 3 seconds, otherwise there is a risk to damage textolite or components.
Good luck! And happy noiseless gaming!

Nice guide
.
These are very good switches. Modded a Razer Pro Click with them and it's still doing nicely. Found a good offer at ~$0.75 each.
Unfortunately, there's no side versions of these, so edge buttons will be tricky. Could solder some extender legs around it, but that'd increase the height of the buttons vs. the board and they're already a bit thicker than the normal switches as is.
There's still some noise as well, but perhaps even the Kaihls can be improved on by bending the retainer clip:
They also make you wonder about keyboards: mechanical, low-travel and silent?!

I had an old broken mouse with the same exact soft click buttons sitting in a drawer. Your post gave me the idea to swap my Zalman ZM-M500WL buttons for the silent ones. Works great and took only a couple of minutes. Original switch had 3 posts and silent ones only have two but it doesn't matter. Looks like the 3rd post on the longer switches may be there just for extra stability on the pcb. Great little project. Thanks again Sirios!

(DPI button included). I have another noiseless mouse from Nexus, but it is an office mouse and I wanted to have something, em, more precise and noiseless at the same time. I have changed the switches right away on the second day after I received the G403

Great info here. Think I am going to try this on a old mouse I have tonight!
