I bought a second Thinkpad Bluetooth mouse because I often forget to take a mouse home with me. My mouse powers up properly. Somehow there are 2 mice in my Devices and Printers tab under the Start Menu.

But the new mouse doesn't seem to sync, it's fresh out of the box. Any ideas?
I popped in the drivers CD but after it asked me to write over all the files and each flie was the same (kept asking if I wanted to overwrite and I kept clicking no) for 20 consecutive files, I just quit the installation.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Each mouse is a different piece of Hardware, so there should be two in the Device and Printer CP. I use two MS Bluetooth 8000 mouse with my Thinkpad, one at work and one at home, and I use the MS Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 5000 traveling. Should should be able to right click on the Mouse and click connect. The other option is to remove both and then push the bluetooth synch button and re-add it...

I had to remove and reinstall the drivers and it worked fine for the new mouse.
Now gotta check at the office and see if that mouse works too.

    Thanks

    Argh,

I removed all drivers, reinstalled and the new mouse was recognized but now the old one isn't recognizing.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

When you install both mice, do you have icons in devices and printers for both?

initially when I had the problem I had the exact same icon twice.

The two mice are the exact same mouse (make and model).

I deleted both and reinstalled, and here I am with only 1 mouse that will sync

Have you paired both of the Lenovo Mice? Usually there is a pairing button on the bottom of the mouse that will put it into pairing mode, after it is pairing mode right click on the Bluetooth Icon in the Tray and click add device or new connection (depends if it is using a Broadcom or Toshiba Chipset). Have it find the Mouse and allow it to connect, it will load drivers again, that ok. After it finishes you should have both mice....
