The reason I put G9 in parenthesis is because i'm not sure whether it's solely this mouse or might it just be my laptop.

I've had this problem for a while, it might even be the mouse, but I'm not entirely sure. I think it might have happened in previous laptops before, but i'm not sure. I'm having the problem currently in my Lenovo T500. Also not sure if it's in just firefox or other things, it happens randomly, but almost all the time if I unplug and replug in the mouse later.

What i'm talking about is scrolling. Currently in mouse options (have had this problem in W7 and Vista) I have scrolling set to 10 lines in one notch. It works fine, but then randomly, my lines per notch decreases, which makes scrolling very slow. Not sure by how much it decreases, but way too slow. I go back to mouse options, and I have to just move the notch up and down, so from 10 to 9 then back to 10. This essentially "resets" it and the scrolling works normally again.

    Any help?

Are you using Setpoint, and is it updated to the latest version?

im kind of having a similar problem. when scrolling through documents, websites, using the scroll wheel to change the volume in VLC media player, etc... if i scroll one click at a time, it doesnt register the scroll (up or down) all the time...it registers the scroll 98% of the time, but not all the time like it used to. just updated to logitech setpoint 5.20 for windows 7 64 bit...still having the same problem
