My wife and I have been searching all over and cannot find a sleeve that will fit a 15.6 Widescreen. The closest thing is a 16".

    Any advice?

PS... She wants PINK if possible LOL

The number is just the screen-size. It matters little whether it's 15.4 or 15.6 – you're not buying a snuggie for the screen but for the computer. The screen size is just a pointer to the general size.

You will have to look at the real dimensions, both of the laptop and the sleeve itself. You cannot buy a sleeve based on screen size alone.

    Ok dimensions i have are 15.08W, 9.4D, .59H

so basically if sleeve is bigger on all 3, i should be safe?

Yup. And if it's slightly smaller but made from, say, neoprene you will be fine too. Also, if the thing is a bit smaller in size (from above) but a little thicker it can make up for it by using the sides a bit.
It's not really science, it's a matter of fitting a glove on a box.
Are your computer really .59H? That's extremely thin, methinks.

Edit:I looked it up: Your computer is 15.1 x 9.8 x 1.6 inches. That's the size of the "box". Good luck :)

LOL, no, I'm just saying that you should think of the computer as a box when you research the sleeves. It's a matter of not believing the hype and not think there is anything special about computer sleeves. In essense they're nothing more than a fitted sock (padded or not) around a box-shaped, well, box.

The one listed above states 11.25 x 14.8 x 0.8 inches interior, which from what i understand would be too small

    Maybe i should just grab a 16"

FORGET the screen measurement other than as a pointer. No matter the ratio (16:10/16:9/4:3 or even 26:3) screen measurements are always made diagonally. However, this matters little as you want something that fits your computer, the box, and not some diagonal measurement of the screen.
The only thing you can use the screen measurement for is to be pointed in the direction of large sleeves. When those large sleeves are found, you have to look at the inner dimensions of the sock (sleeve) and compare that to the three dimensions of the box (computer).

Haha, sorry, but I can't stop laughing right now. I know how it feels when something suddenly confuses you when it normally doesn't :p

Well, it's not that difficult if you think of it as a box you're buying a cover for. It's not some weird shape –a foldable phone with an external antenna springs to mind. It's just a box which happens to open and reveal a screen.

If things go awry because your wife grows impatient, I have this link somewhere were you can buy some custom sleeves and bags (entirely custom). They're leather, though, and I don't think they do pink.
