I need a wireless bluetooth mouse (preferably with back and forward buttons and NOT the v400) and a backpack suggestion and a messenger bag suggestion for a 15/4" DV5000t, extra battery, external HD, a math textbook, and the mouse. Thank you in advance!

I am not so sure about the bag, but i can tell you that a very good bluetooth mouse would be the logitech V270, it connects right away and is a pretty good size. I like it a lot

    Hi Hakoreh,

My guess is that you're looking for a bluetooth mouse to save on the hassle of plugging something into your USB port. But do consider this before you make the plunge:

    1) Bluetooth eats more battery power. Which will be a concern when you're on the move. (You've stated that you need an extra battery pack, so I believe this will be a factor for you.)
    2) The mice usually come with non standard batteries. Which means you can't replace them easily or cheaply.
    3) They are big. So don't expect to find "notebook" mice with them. You'll be looking at desktop bluetooth mice.
    4) While this depends on luck, bluetooth compatibility is going to be more dicey compared to a normal wireless mouse which uses the USB slot. USB has been around a lot longer so the compatibility is higher.

If you're still interested in bluetooth mice, perhaps you could try the offerings by Logitech and Microsoft. Share your experiences with us.

I personally haven't ran into a compatibilty problem with bluetooth mice, And it seems as if there ever was one, with the correct software it would be easily fixed. I would probably go with Logitechs G7, its wi-fi not bluetooth, but it has 2 battery packs and a charger that is seperate from the wireless reciever. They are a little bit expensive, but money well spent if your using a computer alot.
