Faster response and reduced accuracy/stability. Three trinity of evil![]()
Yes, it did. But not sensitivity settings. It changed mouse wheel's values. Windows' mouse sensitivity settings stay just like before. But I went ahead and corrected to (it was same but did it anyway) 6/11. Enhance mouse precision setting was never on either. I tick and untick it and applied. It is still the same. This mice has 64k memory and it stores them there, with this way macros, DPI settings and other things can work on other systems.
I'm trying to find a good DPI settings for me from the very beginning but I still couldn't find 'perfect' DPI settings as good as before. The only thing left to is wipe out this mice's memory. If it still doesn't work, then I gonna buy a new mice.
Nevermind that. That value instantly changes when moving mice lower or faster. It is a normal behaviour. I can get stable 500hz value when needed and even 1000hz. By the time I took that screenshot, I was not paying attention to that. See:

The PAW3305 in X7 has 1600/3200DPI native so if 1200DPI feels too fast try 400/ 800DPI first, if you haven't already.

400 DPI is still too fast for you?

Willing to take it apart, right? Make a good photo of both sides of the pcb and it shouldn't be hard to tell which is the memory IC. However, wiping may very well disable the mouse altogether (if it also contained factory settings). You also need a programmer to erase (or kill it by overcurrent). If you have neither programmer or soldering iron; short the data and ground pins, that effectively nullifies the chip.
