So I need a voltage regular to work with my solar panel. For some reason my solar panel puts out a very high voltage. 12-26 volts depending on the sun. I wanting to get something to regulate the current so I can plug in a inverter and power small electronics with it. Or even charge my laptop. Does any one know of a regulator for less then $50?

I've looked all over and could not find one.

Cool, good luck with it. That's a pretty sweet setup, from the sounds of it.

Yeah I've had a 26 watt solar panel for over 2 years and only have been able to use a dc to dc regulator from Walmart to power small electronics. I've tried 3 inverters before. And none handle the voltage. I hope this works.

What would you think the power usage of a netbook would be? Say a 1000he from Asus. Maybe around 15 watts peak?... Maybe...
