Well, I've spent hours Googling around to get the best possible gaming experience on a wireless mouse with the best price, the fact that I said wireless alone is a problem because the precision and speed of a wired mouse is unmatched, but wireless mouses are making great steps every time.
So I either found ones that are really overpriced or cheap ones with no quality, until I was drunk the other day and went in the university mall and bought myself a random mouse from a company I've never heard of, and when I woke up at the dorms, to my surprise I found a package of a mouse, I thought someone bought it to me as I could not remember for some time later what I did the night before obviously because of alcohol but now let's move to the good part.
Yes this is a mini review, as I do not have time to write a detailed one.
Manufacturer: A4tech ( http://a4tech.com)
Product: G7-630 ( http://a4tech.com/ennew/product.asp?cid=142&scid=145&id=558)
The installation was painless I just hooked the very, very tiny receiver and Windows got it figured through Windows Update in less than a minute, and I was ready go.

The touch and feel of the mouse felt a bit weird at first because my previous mouse was very small so I needed a bit of time to get used to its feel, though the first thing I did was the usual tests of precision, speed and quality to see if it jumps around, like making circles at full speed and infinity signs etc...

And surprisingly, for a mouse that cost 17$ that was very good, no jumping around, and the same movement of my hands translated to a constant output on the screen, meaning the mouse is consistent, a thing my last mouse missed.
I usually do not care about the programs that come with hardware, but I decided to give the program that came with the mouse a try, I did not regret it, you can choose DPI (800, 1000, 1200, 1600) and Report Rate (150, 250, 500), see battery status (normal AA batteries), and a nice little place for initiating mouse gestures. It did have a thing with scrolling or something, it was really annoying so I simply turned it off.
The performance is very good, no lag / delay what so ever, its very responsive and consistent, and very accurate as well, works on most surfaces which is pretty good, tried it on my desk, on a mouse pad, on my clothes, my cat, and a sofa, all good, but the sofa was not very accurate. The cat was excelling for gaming

Verdict: Very well made mouse, it just works and it has an amazing range, Ive got it working on my 40' screen from about 8 meters in a friend gathering and it was very impressive to show it off, I wish they don't Google around and find out it's only 17$...
Recommended, get yourself one.
I'd answer any question, as this is my first review of anything ever, and I know I missed a lot of points.
Thanks.

I have learned through the magic of scientific experimentation that being too far separated from my G9 for extended periods of time causes stress. Still, it looks pretty impressive for the money.

Not bad for $17...but still, what you get is a $17 mouse. Limited to 500Hz, 1,600 DPI is pretty standard these days, and that doesn't look like an extremely comfortable grip. And I can imagine Logitech is just thrilled that they named this thing the G7.
If you want to try a real gamer's mouse, pick up a Logitech MX518 or Razer DeathAdder.
Either way, yay for intoxicated impulse buys. I ended up with a guitar that way once. -
Yeah well, it is really important to look at what you are comparing this mouse to before making opinion, I'm comparing to a standard Microsoft wired optical mouse, one of those that cost 4 dollars.
Had it for years and it wasn't really bad but recently starting jumping around, and this mouse was a massive improvement, I agree though that the Logitech is much better, but I think this is as good as it gets for 17$ -
$17, laughing. Thanks for the review!

Also, nice choice of mouse tests.
I really recommend this gaming mouse!
