This mouse is ugly IMO. The Logitech G9x would still be on the sweet spot.

Also IMO, it looks insanely... unweildy. I won't say ugly, because beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it just doesn't seem too appealing. People make fun of alienware that you can't use it in public (not true), but then advocate R.A.T.s which are far easier to poke fun at

Adjustability is nice, but I've heard reviews saying that its sensor is sub-par, and that's what really matters in a good mouse.

Apart from the adjustable parts, it doesn't really have anything that most other gaming mice don't have. Off the top of my head:

    • Custom weights - Logitech G9x, G500, Microsoft SideWinder
    • Button position adjustment - Razer Imperator
    • DPI of 4,000 or greater - Razer Mamba, Lachesis, Imperator, Logitech G9x, G500, G700
    • Adjustable DPI - pretty much any gaming mouse, seriously
    • 5 buttons - Razer DeathAdder, Mamba, Imperator, Lachesis, Logitech G9x, G500, MX518, G700, MS SideWinder
    • Programming software/button reassignment - once again, just about any gaming mouse has this.

tl;dr - it may be a good mouse, but it's really nothing extraordinary. Hell, even the R.A.T. 7 and 9 have more adjustability and other features.

I was entertaining the idea of getting a RAT, as my G9 is deteriorating, but logitech offered to replace it with a G9x, so the RAT will have to wait. I will say that it has a very interesting design.

Had used the RAT 7 not long ago, even after deep customization, feel its still over-rated & not as good as my trusty G700.Even the Steelseries Xai feels better & more responsive.
