That works with a laptop. I have Acer Travelmate 2490 and am looking to buy a webcam and I am really confused because of the different brands and names. All the cams (webcams) look cool and attractive then when I read the reviews I found out that they are sucks.

I have a $50 gift certificate from bestbuy so I thought of buying a webcam.

I need a nice webcam with a great video resolution. I don't care about the snapshot capabilities. The most important thing is that it has a high resolution.

    Thank you

Forget the rest and go get the Logitech Quickcam pro for notebooks. It has the best resolution and video performance of any web cam on the market. It comes with a 2MP sensor and a Carl Zeiss glass lens. It will run you about $99 but its worth it.

I got the quickcam laptop deluxe for 39 dollars on sale..honestly, this is a great cam for the price. You can make vids that are long and are only 5 megs..the detail is nice..i can only imagine what the pro is like...but go logitech.

Also, dont even use the drivers that come on the disk..go to logitech.com and get the newest ones that are available.
