    also

    Razer Diamondback

i know most ppl who own a Logitech MX510/MX1000 are pleased

i've never had a Razer mouse before tho and don't know much people who have them

anyone have one or could give me some feedback?

I use the MX1000 for my desktop. But I plan on getting the MX510 for my laptop. I've read some good reviews about the Razor mouse though.

This is the one that I use with my laptop:

    http://www.compusmart.com/Product/Default.aspx?SupplierPartNo=027014

It's easy to carry around in your knapsack or case and is wireless so that gives you some mobility when using it (no worries about wires and stuff). Another good thing about it is that it only uses one AA battery (included with mouse), most wireless mice use 2 AA batteries (more weight).

Just plug in your receiver and XP looks after the rest, easy to use and looks good.

Between those two I would probably get the mx510 just because i've only used corded mouses, and dont need it to be wireless. I'm not sure if it still is true with the newest cordless mice, but I heard that they lag when playing games.

I use a Logitech for my desktop. I think I've had that mouse for at least 3 years, and it still works great.

All the reviews of the MX1000 said there is like non lag what so ever.

The deciding factor for me when I get a mouse between the MX1000 and MX518 (the new gaming quality corded mouse) is that the MX1000 has the side to side scroll on the scroll wheel and it's rechargable.

I heard that the Razor was good but not as good as the MX1000. I also don't like the styling of it... too stylish.

I say wait for the MX518. It's going to be $49.99 when it is released.

    *SIGH*

Hi all, i personaly own a MX1000 already 9 months and i haven't seen any lag it's really fast and comfortable, the only thing that bothers me is that is heavy but , I got used to that and i think that helps me now for more precise posssitionning. I'm working mainly with CAD programs and i would say that MX1000 is a great product.

Stickman, forgot to say. MX1000 is working on every surfaces, it's working on the floor, on the sofer, and has a very smooth responsibilty. Combined with Li-ion battery it's realy worth the money, i bought mine for already 100 USD with sipping and taxes, now u can easily find it for about 50 bucks. My advice is go for it

Personally I use the MediaPlay logitech, cause I wanted a logitech wireless without a huge receiver/transmitter base so that my mouse can be portable, yet I didn't want it as small as the minis, hence that narrowed it down to the MediaPlay.

I caved in and got a logitech mediaplay mouse. Mainly I got it because it looks nice from my perception. Also I recently tested and have been able to use it up to about 20 feet away to change songs and all that stuff on my laptop. I've even been able to change while being on the floor above and a few rooms over. It actually has a decent range for non bluetooth. But that's what I use it for/plan. Laptop hooked up to a sound system in main living room and be able to use the mouse pretty much where ever in an apartment to change the song/increase volume.

Pretty nice feel, relatively light and I believe an overall decent laptop mouse.

seems like early next month. all sites claim they will ship in about 2 weeks, new egg has an ETA of 5/6 ... I would trust new egg since they at least have a date on there.

I have heard about this mouse over 4 months ago. actually a lucky few had the chance to use it at some LAN party somewhere some 3 months ago. I wonder why logitech are taking their time since they obviously had it done for some time now!
