I'm looking for a good gamer mousepad, I bought a razer mouse pad & it is way too sensitive, I do better without it. Should I even buy a mouse pad if they are all like this?

i just use a regular $5 mouse pad with my mouse, and it works fine. i don't like the slick, plastic surface of some mouse pads.

I've been using a Func1030 mousing pad for a couple years now. It has two surfaces: one that is smooth and slightly slick for laser/optical mice, the other side is slightly rough/pebbled for ball-mice.

It depends on what mouse you're using, and what your style is. If you like mice with low sensitivity, you'll need a larger pad.

There are 2 different kinds of mouse pads: Hard, and soft. Hard mouse pads are slicker and it's easier to push a mouse around on them. Soft pads give more feedback. Some people like this "resistance" feeling, some don't.

Then there are a few people (like me) who just use the top of their desk. :D It's all a matter of taste.
