This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I'd like to review the notebook I just purchased and wanted to know what you guys reccomend to use to take temperature and noise readings with for a laptop. Ideally, I'd like the thermometer to take heat readings via an IR "point and shoot" method, and I don't want to spend a fortune on the two devices. Is there a device that combines both into one? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
