I have not had that exact one, but I had a Targus one and it was surging my usb ports and shutting off, i have not had good lusk with them, but you might. 10 bucks either means its cheaply made, or you found a great deal. I would reccromend not using your computer on a bed, couch, and so on , but on a hard suface like a desk or coffee table. Also try blowing a fan towards it or not blocking vents. Hope I helped!

If I were getting one I would get this:
    CoolerMaster: NotePal S

Allows for adjustable tilt, provides good airflow to the system fan, and is silent. Also it looks good when you laptop is not sitting on it.

Thanks for help. I'm not having cooling problems, as the laptop runs fairly cool. But I think it is a good investment for when gaming, just to keep it running a little cooler.

If your PC isnt hot, then the cooling mat is just going to suck power up from your pc even if it works fine. It is pretty useless unless your computer gets hot when gaming. It looks a little on the cheap side anyway -Sorry :)
