please suggest a good Notebook Cooler for my Acer Aspire 5738G. I have both variants, with and without the GPU.

I did some research on my own and have come up with the following models:

    Cooler Master ErgoStand
    Cooler Master Notepal Infinite
    Belkin Cooling Pad

I'll post the pic of the bottom of the laptop if needed.

    Thanks a lot!

Infinite is preferable if you will not use additional keyboard. That ergostand looks like... clumsy hippopotamus, don't know why :) Maybe because of that 2 front holders which perhaps won't let you to type free. Your laptop really is so big/wide (383.82 mm)?
    Picture would be good.

PS I bought Cooler Master Notepal U2 for my VAIO f12. U2 looks little bit lesser than ideal for mine laptop. Perhaps it will be fine for your but it is without USB hub.

thanks dude....yeah my laptop is that wide...here are the dimensions from the quick guide:

    Dimensions and weight
    • 383 (W) x 250 (D) x 26/37 (H) mm (15.1 x 9.9 x 1.03/1.5 inches)
    • 2.8 kg (6.16 lbs.) with 6-cell battery pack

Here is the pic of the base. FUnnt part is that the areas marked with red are actually blocked, that is no holes for ventilation. The only area that seems to be allowing ventilation is towards the front, marked in green.

Well that one which I suggested wont be able to send fresh air to that green hole... But I doubt any other cooler will do that. So you need cooler which will catch by his airflow all bottom part of laptop for cooling it somehow. You can put your hand on bottom of laptop to feel if it is hot or not. If it won't - then cooler will be just one of good and beautiful accessories you can get for laptop. It will make an angle for better typing and higher level of monitor comparing to your eyes. I doubt it will do much job for cooling if red holes are really blocked. It depends on how hot is bottom part. I would choose infinite
