So I'm gunna need a bag for my Dell D630, or Lenovo T61 (havent decided which yet, it'll be a grad present) BUt what bag should I get? I really like the fossil and oakley bags, but I dont know how they hold up. Are there any other good bags that look like either of these?

I'd personally recommend a Targus case equipped with the SafePort air cushion system.

Speaking of which, I just got a Targus Corporate Traveler for my 15.4" WS ThinkPad T60 to ride in when I'm out and about. It's really spacious inside and features contemporary all-black styling with dark titanium-tone hardware so it's really easy on the eyes.

I've also hauled my old Toshiba Satellite 5205 for the past four years in a Targus Port Noteworthy Executive case, also SafePort equipped, and it's protected the laptop from every bump and fall imaginable and both the case and the laptop it has protected are still holding up like new.

Thanks. I had to look it up a bit later, and forgot to come back and corrent.

I have to say, try to avoid a Targus or any other case that looks like it holds a laptop. Especially if you travel a lot. Not that they are bad bags... but thieves see one of those, they think jack pot. People using those bags at my old Univ had them stolen more than others using normal looking backpacks.

    Oh yeah, avoid Slappa :-D

take a look at some of the options at MEC.ca :)

I will admit too, I would LOVE an all aluminum case to carry my laptop about. in fact, I wouldn't hesitate I would like 3 or 4...a quick bag, a packsac like bag, an aluminum case and maybe even something that can trail behind me like wheeled luggage.

hello, have you seen any of the online reviews for the booq? I've been told they are very wide bags and unless you have broad shoulders and quite a big physique it will overshadow you, there BIG. I know I'm sounding like I'm trying to sell my backpack but seriously I've been looking around and personally money is no option to me either and I decided to buy the North face Recon pack. Look up the reviews and you won't be disappointed.

heres an online video review of my pack - http://www.altrec.com/servlets/iris/25790/video/TNF/8112/

    good luck!!
