Ring up Asus or Worst Buy and have them replace it under warranty.

they said the broken pin isn't covered under warranty because it is "User Fault" which is bullsh!t. the dam thing just broke off at the welding. Idk what i'm supposed to do from here. Other then estore.asus.com. where else can i get a LEGITIMATE charger? i don't really want to buy a knockoff unless i HAVE to

    From a Top-Rated seller, too. ;)

Also, try ASUS support again. Sometimes it's just a matter of who you talk to. If they try to tell you it's your fault again when you tell them it's not, this line usually hits them hard: "so, are you calling me a liar, or are you just refusing to honor my warranty because it's inconvenient for you?"

Just don't be directly confrontational. I have dealt with a lot of tech support, including getting Asus to give me an entirely new (different) computer. If you attack them, they won't like you. Ask how it is that you could have done that given the circumstances.

i called them four times last night and talked to someone different every time, and they all told me the same thing, so i decided that i'm going to send it in.

    shroom-
    1) it doesnt' say it works with RX05
    2) the RX supply is 150W
    3) the stats are:

    Input- 100-240V~2.0A 50-60HZ
    Out- 19.5V 17.7A
    Model- adp150NB D

I Can't find it anywhere. i found an adp150NB but it isn't Delta series, but its 17.9A instead of 17.7A. the only thing i can find is through ASUS but they don't have one. Won't 17.9 fry my computer?

Asus is being absolutely less then helpful in helping me find a supplier or one of their own.

Hmm. It does say RX05 specifically in the title. Twice, in fact:
I've no idea why it would have different specs though. Send an email to the seller and make sure, perhaps?

it says G51RX05. not G71-RX05, which is the laptop in question. if you check the Asus estore, the G71's charger there (60$, out of stock) is also 150w
