I'm in need of a laptop lock, a USB flash drive, and a USB hub.
    I'm looking at these:

I only need one with 4 ports, 7 is a bit too many. More recommendations would be great :)

the USB Hub I'm not sure

Go for the Kingston Drive: the USB connector retracts (no lost caps), great brand name.
Go for the Cheaper Kesington: Its supposed to be more of a dissuasive than anything. If someone wants to steal your laptop no matter what they'll cut the cable regardless of its width anyway.

as far as USB hubs, just go for a reliable brand. it's also good to make sure they include a few features:
    - USB 2.0
    - can be powered by AC/wall outlet and USB
    - read some reviews and see if the particular unit has a steady/rubber base; also look for it's weight
    - add bonus would be if it had downstreaming? (forgot what it was called) capabilities; able to charge things like phones, etc, etc

the partriot xporter line of usb memory cards and the Flash voyager Gt's from Corsair are the fastest USB memory cards on the market.

To be honest, Belkin is just branded generic Chinese stuff, and really usb hubs are very simple to make, so get what is cheap and has decent ratings.

I've been using the Kensington mini 4 port hub for about a month and hate it. Very flimsy. Feels like it could break at any time. I realize it is not a big ticket item, but I decided to try another one and I couldn't be happier. The one I bought recently is the Belkin 4 port mini USB 2.0 hub:
