I know you said 50, but full size wireless mouse with side buttons screams Logitech Performance MX

Yep, Performance MX. Also has a nano reciever as well.

Is Bluetooth an option for you?

My original wireless mouse was a Logitech that really held up to the years of abuse. So when it finally came time to upgrade, I choose their flagship the Logitech Performance MX. Still, not everyone thinks like you and I. For the OPs price range, there's it's little brother, the Logitech Anywhere mouse. It is available at Amazon for around $60.

LOL, Krane did you even look at the price of your link? It says $70...not "around $60." Either way that's the mouse I just recently ordered (it's coming soon). I got it for $65 off the Logitech site, using coupons ($10-15 saving). However, it's not "full-size". I, like others, would recommend the Performance MX mouse. Here's a way to get it for $76.49 (excluding tax, ~$5) off the Logitech site using coupons:

Go to the logitech site. Add the mouse to your cart. Go to your cart (but stop on the cart page). Now go to this site and copy and paste the first two green codes (one at a time) into the "coupon code" space on the cart page. Both codes will save you like ~$20 (with tax) off the Logitech site's price. And its like ~$13 cheaper than Amazon's price (the first green coupon code expires soon so be quick).

Now I know that's still above your price range for a mouse but Logitech sells quality products (especially if it's their high-end stuff, like the Perf. Mouse). There are lots of good reviews for this mouse. It's full sized, has the popular tiny receiver, has lots of extra buttons, and has Logitech's Darkfield technology (allowing it to work even on glass and maybe better on all surfaces). Oh and I believe the thing is rechargeable. So...not meaning to sound like a sales rep or anything here (although I think I do :D ), at about the $76, you get a pretty darn good deal :p . I hope this helps, if you don't get my explanation of the coupon process, I can help. Now I'm just waiting for this Anywhere MX to get here...........

imo, the best one is currently.

    Logitech Performance Mouse MX.

if thats too expensive, microsoft also makes some nice full size wireless mouse.

    Microsoft Blutrack explorer mouse.

the receiver is full sized though.

one slight issue with the Performance Mouse MX. in the initial first two batches(at least), there was quite a major defect with the middle-click. it simply didn't work unless you pressed at a VERY specific angle at a VERY specific pressure...even if that was your natural 'clicking' habit, it likely still wouldn't work.

you may or may not(unlikely) notice it, but if you compare it with a properly functioning logitech mouse(any other model), a defective Performance MX will definitely stand out.

i suggest that you pay very close attention to the middle-click and don't hesitate to exchange it immediately for a new mouse. my first performance MX was defective, but the 2nd one was defect-free and is still absolutely amazing.

Simply put, too small. OP wanted a full size mouse.

Really? I was under the impression that the G7 wasn't all that good.

Most complaints seem to be about the relatively short battery life and glossy surface, but in terms of performance it's pretty highly regarded.

True, but he said "if possible". Evidently in the case of the G7, it's not possible. :p
