Just wondering what adapter I would need in order to power my Dell Laptop while on a airplane? I know my plane has an empower outlet, but not sure what adapter I should use. Can anyone suggest anything?

Aah - Finally a question I can answer very thoroughly.

As an OW Emerald member, I fly CX quite often and the answers are based on those experiences. On CX it really depends whether you fly F, J, or Y. In Y usually select seats (at least on widebody LR aircraft- i.e. 777-233 or 777-300 B744, etc.) select seats have power acccess which utlize the Cigg adapter. On some aircraft however, a standard cigarrette light adapter should be used. In J and F, again on some aircraft, a CIGG adapter can be used, but on most longhaul flights, a standard 2 or 3 prog outlets are available. In any case, if you fly F or J, usually the flight crew have spare universal adapters for most laptops. If you get back to me with your routing or aircraft info, I would be able to provide you with better assistance.
