I'm in the market for an inexpensive yet durable Bluetooth mouse that doesn't have the best DPI yet has a somewhat decent DPI and won't break in a month or from tossing it on my bed at night.

I'm not willing to put in more than $15 into a Bluetooth mouse which is why I've been scouring eBay and I've stumbled upon a few mice I felt would be sufficient to my needs.

    1) Slim White Bluetooth Wireless Mouse for Apple iMac Win 7 Vista XP Laptop PC | eBay

    2) 6d Rechargeable Bluetooth Laser Mouse CPI Key Red | eBay

    3) http://www.ebay.com/itm/ultra-slim-...-xp-/320952374180?pt=Mice&hash=item4aba4093a4

If anyone has bought these mice from eBay, can you comment on your experience with them? Did they break in a matter of days? How was scrolling/navigating?

Feel free to post any mouse recommendations below and/or comment on the mice I've posted or Bluetooth mouse purchases from eBay in general.

i am not sure about the slim white imac mouse, but dont get the 6d one, its really really cheap quality and its software doesnt work properly with windows (you get a bunch of artifacts, impossible to use). i bought one long time ago and its just lying around, very hard to use. if i were to recommend one, i would say the microsoft 5000 is the best i have used. i also own a logitec v470, but i say the microsoft is by far the best. its less than $30, but i say its well worth your money

Although I believe you that it's a great mouse, It's out of my price range.

With those generic Chinese bluetooth mice you are really shooting in the dark. You could gamble $9 that one of those works ok, or you could spend like $25 for a new Logitech V470 or buy some other name-brand bluetooth mouse used on ebay.

If you are looking for value for money then in my opinion you should go for i-ball 2.4 GHz optical mouse. I’m using it from the last 6 months. It is available with USB nano receiver and has Powerful optical sensor for optimum accuracy and Power On/Off switch to save battery life.

I wasted a lot of time trying to find a cheap bluetooth mouse, it goes back to the principle: "You get what you pay for". All of the cheap ones were awful at best.

I finally went with the Microsoft one and haven't had any problems at all. I do wish there were full size ones though.

The Microsoft Bluetooth mice are solid. I use the Microsoft Wireless Presenter Mouse 8000 (phew, what a name) at work and it is reliable and easy on batteries. The only big thing I don't like about Microsoft mice in general is their scroll wheels - there's no notches and middle clicking is hit or miss (easy to accidentally scroll while doing so).

I'm in full agreement that you're going to get what you pay for with input devices - save up and get something decent. Inexpensive generic mice and keyboards are built to abnormally low quality standards. At the same time spending top dollar doesn't make sense either - meet somewhere in the middle. Like near everything else in life, there's an optimal balance of factors.

I purchased the white slim Bluetooth mouse from eBay and it's been very durable and has yet to show signs of breaking.
