Not sure if it'll be okay to post in this subforum, or if I have to go create an account on PrinterComparsion...

Anyway, my mom has been bugging me about what I wanted for Xmas and I'm never good at picking out a list, but I figure I'll get something practice this year. I never really printed much at home, but in college that completely changed, as I am usually printing something every other day.

Since the price of ink for inkjets is stupid high (and that they "expire" quickly), I'm interested in getting a cheap, monocolor laser printer for Xmas. Basically, all I want is:

-something inexpensive (at or below $80-90)
-toner that will be easy to find, and cheap
-something that's relatively small (since I'm in a dorm room with a practical space of around 11'x11') and relatively quiet (I hear a lot of laser printers are loud?)

I've been browsing the Egg every so often, but my knowledge of printers is nearly zip, as far as comparing different laser printers go. Any suggestions for what I should be looking for?

I bought a Brother MFC-7220 for about $200, I use it on my network and it works great. +1 to Brother.
