When i got my e1505, i got a free swiss gear maxxum backpack. I thought it was pretty cool. It was nice and comfy, but i had never really used it to care my laptop a long distance. Skool finally started, and it was time to take my laptop to skool. I used my swiss gear backpack. Using it, it made my back a little sore. It almost created pressure points on my shoulders. It felt comfy with all of the padding, but it still felt heavy. This is with no books. I decided to use my old backpack from high skool. It was made by Emerica, the skate company. Just a simple little backpack. That was actually more comfortable. Alot. I dont know how, but it feels alot better on my back. My laptop is fine inside as well. Doesnt move much.

I guess the moral of the story is: try out a regular backpack before you spend tons of money on a super cool laptop backpack. Luckily i got mine for free, but ive seen them between $50-$100.

You might need to make some adjustments to the straps, etc. on the Maxxum.... I have one as well and initially it was kind of uncomfortable, but once I got the strap lengths right, it has been very comfortable for me even with a laptop and some heavy books.

I can't comment on the Swiss Gear maxxum, but I've been using the Swiss Gear star for commuting on a bicycle. It is extremely comfortable and I have been impressed with the overall quality of the bag.
