Ok, so I posted on this a while ago, but I can't find the thread for w/e reason so I'm reposting, so I appologize for the inconvenience.

I have these old speakers, but hey they work great, I'm trying to connect them to my M17, but! My M17 only allows 5.1 through optical audio connection, so two things to keep in consideration, the solution needs to be cheap under 100 dollars, and second should take up as minimal space as possible, an express card solution or just a cable would work, but I don't have any room on my desk for another object.

    Thank you :D

You can try a usb sound card. A quick search on ebay will give you lots of results. And its not that big.
