A HDTV hybrid tuner is a feature that allows you to watch HD television on your computer. If it's built-in, then there are no external parts, but you'll most likely have to connect it to an antenna.

"Hybrid" means it will do both analogue and digital TV.

Integrated means that it's built into the laptop. You get whatever channels are available to your TV, whether that means hooking up your cable/satellite, or attaching an antenna and picking up over-the-air channels.

Your laptop does not have a DVI input and your TV does not have a DVI output.

Basically a TV tuner turns your laptop into a TV. You can do anything (pick up any channels) a normal TV would be able to. You cannot do anything a normal TV cannot.

u connect the tuner(if its integrated to an antenna inside your laptop) to OTA signals(check antennaweb.org)

otherwise, connect it to a coax cable in your home where you have cable.... it'll pick up any analog channels that ur cable has, but for digital, it can't(Unless u have ClearQAM and ur cable provider doesnt scramble digital signals)
