Somewhere I read that it should be possible to use the VX without the mini USB receiver? Could someone confirm this and if so, how it works? I have bluetooth integrated and installed on my ASUS V1J but getting the VX working without the receiver is another thing.

    Thanks in advance!

turn on your vx and you should be able to see it when you search for new bluetooth device under bluetooth manager and you can pair it with your computer. as far as I know, they just supply a bluetooth dongle with the mouse nothing like rf receivers therefore you should be able to use the mouse with integrated bluetooth

    I don't think it's a bluetooth device.

the VX revolution uses 2.4ghz RF technology, not bluetooth so it wont work that way. could be a way to use it with your wireless card by specifying a channel in ad-hoc mode but that would just be limiting your wireless net connection.
