Is Sound Blaster X-Fi Audio (for notebooks, of course) out yet? If yes, where can I buy it? If no, when will it be released?

I've heard that the card actually slows down a computer with bloatware and the hardware acceleration is negligible. Does anyone know of a real sound card?

There's actually a review for this here at NBR. Search for it.

You can apparently get this card for less than $50.

I'd be careful doing that. For example, the 50 dollar version that is found on Buy.com is actually a desktop version that is mislabeled as a mobile version. Cheapest I've seen it for is 70 at Dell.
