They make a lot of carrying cases and backpacks for laptops. I like one of their backpack but I was wondering about their quality.

I don't think you can put them in the same class as Booq or Waterfield, but they seem to be of reasonable quality...I'd prob. put them in the same class as Wegner and/or Samsonite for that type of thing.

From what I see, they don't dabble in some of the more durable materials like Kevlar, Carbon Fiber or Ballistic Nylon. They're more of the volume / price point player that a Best Buy or Circuit City plays too...

Their Urban bag is looks pretty cool (kinda ugly but it's a good ugly IMO).

I have the CityGear Los Angeles. Now I agree with TheUndertow about not being in the class of the Booq or Waterfield but the quality of the zippers, padding and overall build is pretty good. I beat the heck out of mine everyday with work and I'm in and out of it probably 50 times a day and it holds up great. Plenty of pouches, folds, sections call them what you want but I have just about every computer supply and office supply that I could possibly need for a work day in there and no problem finding them. Now mine is for a 17" notebook but you can adjust the width of the area that holds the notebook down to a 15.4" notebook. When you do that, it basically makes a new little area. That area is perfect for my backup battery. Slides right in. Anyway it depends on how much you want to spend. Targus is a good value and don't forget about checking ebay. I picked mine up from a seller that didn't need that big of a bag. Got it for $29! Saved about $65 going that route. Just my .02

They are of reasonable quality for a reasonable price, I like my Urban Vertical bag. It's not too big nor too small, fits everything I need for a quick trip to a coffee shop, friends house, library, etc.

The only thing about it is that, Targus is a well known Laptop accessory brand, so theives 'may' know you're hiding a laptop in there. But usually, most people can't tell, the Targus label is usually small.

Targus is a fine brand. They're trying to get a little more stylish and are one of the few big brands making bags for women. I'd have no problem recommending them for a basic bag. For something with more style, look elsewhere.

I have a Targus bag and a CaseLogic bag and have to say they both are really good, even though they arent "the best looking" cases they still get the job done.

Targus bag quality is excellent. I have one mine and it was 4year old still strong and good. Yeah Targus is a bit pricey, considering their quality.

They're supposed to be the most popular brand of notebook cases. I bought one and it's really cool. It came with a free mouse.

I have a Targus gravity and the edges near the stitching is getting frayed. It looks like the edge of some cutoff jeans.

I am looking into another type of bag with more durability but I still have the standard laptop bag that I used with the Dell i6000.

I got the 15.4" version of this bag, everything seems cool but I haven't travelled anywhere with it yet.

All the yellow parts are white on mine, which makes it look better than the pic. :)
