I am thinking of ordering a Logitech v270, but I use a mouse mainly when typing and a wake-up lag would kill my flow. Unfortunately, thats all I keep hearing about. Anyone here have this issue?

my only experience with a bluetooth mouse is a bluetooth MX1000 we have at work. Compared to my standard MX1000 at home, the only difference I see is when waking up from sleep or having been away for a while, it takes a second for the bluetooth to wake up before the screen shows a change. In normal use (some typing, some mousing) where the mouse is moved every few minutes, I see no lag compared to the fast-RF version. I suppose if you only use the mouse every 15-20 minutes it might lag on you.

Ok, thats not bad. I was reading people seeing the lag fater a min. or two still. That would really mess with me. 15-20's not bad.

You have to remember that the people who complain about lag using bluetooth mouses are usually FPS and RTS gamers... so called "twitch" gamers. The lag is probably measured in milliseconds.
Is lag inherent in all bluetooth mice?
