I'm looking for a laptop cooling pad that doubles as a sort of docking station that I can plug my keyboard and maybe some other usb devices into. Is there anything like this?

i use a antec notebook cooler. it does not have extra usb ports, but does have one built in on the wire to the pc so that you dont lose a usb slot

Check out the Targus Notebook Stand with Removable Chill Hub or Targus Notebook ChillHub. Both a built in hub. I'm sure other brands have this too, these are just ones that I am aware of.

Here is a review: http://www.extensiontech.net/reviews/hj/jetart/np5000/ of a cooler that one of my friends is looking to get and thinks to be a good cooler. Just a thought. Hope this helps!

i believe that there are vantec coolers with built in usbs....maybe on the zalmans and the lian li coolers too.

The Zalman ZM-NC 1000 has one extra USB port.

My lapcool2 has an entire powered hub in the back. I think it offers 4 extra USB ports.
It only needs the adapter to be plugged in if you are using the hub, otherwise it just draws power from the USB port for the fans.
Cooling performance is pretty ok, its not spectacular, but then again I've been using it on a 17" Alienware heatmonster. -

The Spire Pacific Breeze cooler which is reviewed in the cooling guide has an extra port on it. There are actually two USB ports but one is used to power the cooler.
Is there a cooling pad that has extra usb ports?
