Most popular would be the Zalman NC2000 for your system looking at the base and the cooling configuration the NZXT Cryo should do a better job. If noise is a major issue then go Zalman otherwise for your notebook go for the NZXT

I dont mean to barge in on the parade here, but the Zalman NC2000 really didnt live up to the praise I heard about it; I am afraid it might not for you either.

I would be careful if you are going to buy it. Be sure to get it from a place you can return it if it disappoints you like it did to me.

Make sure all your vents are being hit but not to be offensive but you have tried probably half a dozen coolers and have never been satisfied.

All my vents are being hit properly.

You want me to be satisfied with a 2-4C temperature drop on the NC2000?
Isnt this thing supposed to do somewhere near 10C? If I want just a 2-4C drop, I will go and get that belkin again, its cheaper and does about the same cooling. You told me that the way my vents were situated, I should get better results then most people. I was excepting atleast 7-8C drop -_-'

Im just gunna sell this to someone it will actually work for.

Honestly I was expecing you to get better resaults then me 0.0 >.< You may want to try a custom build. Im sure you can do it for a similar price and have a perfect set up for your notebook.

TBH, even I thought the vent placements on my notebook was great.
Iunno whats up. I think I will try the infinite and maybe the cryo before trying to build one myself because god knows how that will go...

I have a question. When you put your hand over your cooler(on the top grill area), where the air comes out, do you feel a significant flow? When on max RPM, I can barely feel it, but its there, shown by the results of my testings.

I dont feel it pushing my hand up but I definitly feel it. Kind of makes your hand feel like ice is glazing it.

u gotta remember that all 3 of the coolers u named, (cryo lx, zalmans, and the infinite) all have very different cooling styles.

the zalman unit utilizes a "tunnel-type" air flow where it has 2 stationary fans located at the top. it tries to push air thru a tunnel or channel. that means the air will be weaker in some parts of the cooler and stronger in others. kind of like an air hockey table.

the infinite uses an all around-type of air flow technology. it's fans try to create a more, "all around" type of cooling (hench the name, infinite 8). i've read some reviews statin that the infinite doesn't cool as well when it gets to the outer area of the cooler. it cools the middle of the laptop alot better.

the cryo LX is a very simple design. u basically have raw horsepower from this unit. 3 big fans that blows straight up into yur laptop. it'll push the most CFM's and has a huge cooling surface cuz of the 3 big fans.
