I really like using the Logitech trackball mouse. Does any body know of a small trackball type mouse that would work better for traveling.

Same question from me. I hate ragular mice. I really don't understan how people can use those stupid things. It really looks like manufacturers are making fewer and fewer trackballs. I have never been able to find a decent small portable one for my laptop. I use a Logitech Marble mouse when i am docked at home. In a perfect world they would make a smaller Bluetooth version to take with me.

I use an optical mouse at uni, but at home we have the Logitech trackman and I know which I prefer. Trackballs are great in principle for FPS and general use, but after an extended period, they get uncomfortable for me to use. Also if the ball gets dirty and something stuck to it, that'll affect detection. It was a novelty at first but I'm off trackballs now. Sorry I can't help with the Q... I too only know of Logitech trackballs

A forum search for trackball turns up lots of info. Here's one discussion:

After doing some searching on the internet I found the following:
Fellowes Micro Trac hand -held trackball. Ordered one from Amazon. Cost was 31.22. Took ship alternate that was free. In no big hurry. Based on specs it is 3 inches long compared to Logitech which is 6 inches. Will be interesting to see how I like it. If it is a good alternate will post comments. -
Thanks for the feedback. I will use it mostly for a travel mouse to reduce the space it takes up. Sounds like it will work well for my needs.
Is there a small trackball mouse
