    Hey All,

I have an Expresscard34 modem and a computer with an Expresscard54 slot. The card fits and works fine, but it feels really flimsy and does disconnect if jolted. Is there a plastic adapter for Expresscard34 cards in order to make them more robust? The Targus Expresscard docking station comes with such an adapter, but I can't find any that are sold separately.

i just cut the dummy card and then slide it in after putting in the wireless adapter i used, it fit in there pretty tight, but not so much that it was hard to remove the card.

I've been thinking about doing that, but I was hoping for a more elegant solution.

That would be perfect...were it available in America. I couldn't find order info from that company. I can't believe that this hasn't been more widely manufactured! Didn't those idiots who created the expresscard standard think before they put pen to paper? 34 cards disconnect from the slightest nudge! SOOOO annoying.
