Hi guys, i like to play heroes of newerth and well i need a mouse that will
make the game easier for me.
What i need is mouse with 3-4 more side buttons aligned vertically that can
be use comfortably by my thumb finger.
My brother has a Razor naga and the side buttons on it are perfect however
it just has way too many buttons. I really dont want to buy a mouse with a
full number pad on the side that (way too overkill), as i just need 3 buttons.
After doing some research i came to the conclusion that the razor naga has
no equal or close substitute.
I am currently using Logitech MX518 i find the horizontal side buttons too
uncomfortable.
This where i need your help guys please tell me that there is something like
what i want, high dpi doesnt mean anything to me, i just need a mouse with
funtional and vertical side buttons.

The Logitech G700 might be worth a look. It has four thumb buttons in a square-esque formation, and for many people they are perfectly accessible. It's totally not the same form factor as your current mouse though.
Edit: Beaten to the punch. -
The Microsoft Sidewinder only has two thumb buttons, but they are oriented vertically:

Those are horizontal.

Yes, a 2x2 grid instead of a 1x3.
But it is the closest that the original poster will find, short of the Razer Naga. -
I'm not sure I follow.

I suggest you just get the Razer Naga (since you said it is perfect) and accept the 'Overkill', by that i mean get use to not having to use some side buttons or just find other macros you can assign to it. Eg, Music play/pause.
Because yes, there is no other mouse that vertically aligns their side buttons other than the Naga or the Sidewinder series. The Sidewinders being too little i would assume for you. -
What he's saying is, the four thumb buttons on the G700 are arranged in a quadrilateral formation, as opposed to the single vertical line of 3 buttons that the OP is looking for.
Technically, the G700's keys are both horizontally and vertically oriented. Speaking of which, so are the keys on the Naga. With the G700, however, a good fit to your hand will allow you to press any of the four buttons without moving your whole thumb. If that makes sense. Logitech products... I haven't gone wrong yet.

After looking carefully at the photo, I just realized those are four thumb buttons, not two. Man, those are small.
-
On the Sidewinder, most definitely. Not so much on the G700.

Star Forge Quaggan's Creed Redux!
Agreed, they aren't bad as they appear in the pictures in terms of size. However, the buttons has a tactile design that sometimes you DO end up pressing a row instead of the particular button...
Is there any gaming mouse like this???
