Price is right, and actually looks really good (style). No clue about quality.

And I don't know if this is a factor for you, but I don't even like a backpack to be a brand for notebook specific products, much less be "vaio" tagged, indicating you have a high end notebook in there.

Thats true, stating that you have an expensive notebook in your backback isnt such a good thing

I agree, id get a generic backpack or atleast remove the branding from it after I bought it if i was taking it to school or something.

if it was just for office use ect id be ok with it.

It looks like a nice bag but as noted, unsure of the quality. I suggest finding out where the nearest Sony Style store is and seeing the bag in person if possible.

The SwissGear backpacks get high marks from reviewers . . . they have quite a few bags/backpacks around the $50 price point. Do a search for "SwissGear" on this site and you should get a bunch of results. The site search box is in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

IMO i think the bag is ugly =\
How big is your laptop? There was a deal on the Northface Surge a couple weeks ago. I loved that backpack but my laptop didn't fit in it...just a tad to big. If you laptop can fit in the Surge I would get the Surge =). Just my 2 Cents.

I really want this one, just can't justify $140 if I'm spending $50 on a sleeve.

I don't think sony actually makes that bag, they just put their own branding on it. and like above posts said, not a good idea to advertise to the public what you might be carrying.

if I was carrying bricks of cash, I wouldn't put it in a silver briefcase like you see in the movies.

It is as average price. You can find a better priced backpack on www.ebags.com, but currently nothing good is on sale.

EDIT: I paid $72 for my backpack, but combined two sale prices to get it that cheap.

    This backpack is huge.
