I'm extremely excited, my Acid Green Razer Diamondback is on its way. The other day my mouse went out on me, so I figured it was time for one that I really wanted. I have a two friends with diamondbacks, and one with a Razer Pro Solutions, so I am pretty familiar with their products, and can't wait to use mine on a daily basis. I ordered it off of newegg, for a total of $50 with rush processing and shipping, the list price on newegg for it is $39.99 right now. I will write a short review over it when it gets here along with taking some pictures to let you guys know how it is.

Fantastic choice, you'll love it. I had a Razerback, and a short while ago I upgraded to a Copperhead.

How are you liking the copperhead? I just happened to like the looks of the DB better, so I went with that one. I really don't have a need for as much DPI as the copperhead spits out. My friend has a DeathAdder on preorder, so I'm anxious to see how it compares to the DB as well.

Any way to cancel the order? You can get the Copperhead from buy.com for the same price. I have both mice (landed a Copperhead at buy.com for $35, they raised their price now though but it is still good). I find that the Copperhead is more comfortable and has a better scroll wheel. The Diamondback is flatter which is good if you are used to have your thumb and pinky touching the mousepad (I do that for better accuracy). I get more headshots in CS with the Diamondback than with the Copperhead but overall the Copperhead is better especially at the same price.

I'm getting a copperhead for christmas, but I wonder, why doesn't Razer make a wireless mouse? In a cramped deskspace, having a wired mouse is a hassle because the wire itself can cause the mouse to move when I don't want it too.
-
I think the reason they don't make any wireless ones is for the sheer reason of speed. Wired are as fast as it gets right now, and the few milliseconds does make a difference to some hardcore and professional gamers, which is who these products are really aimed at. Hopefully some kind of new breakthrough will happen with wireless technology so we can have the same speed as wired in our mice, I would like that too.

Congrats on you new mouse! I had a diamondback for about 10months and i loved every minute of it, easly one of the best mice you can get for the money. (unfortunately my diamondback was pick-pocked while on going home on the CTA Greenline two weeks ago).

ITS HERE! I absolutely love the thing. Out of the box, it was super-sensitive, at a setting of 10 out of 10. I put it down to around 4.5 for my use until I get more used to the body of it. Its very natural for me to control though since I have long skinny fingers. Wish I would have got the thing sooner!
