This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have been looking around at this security device but am still not certain on how it functions. If i placed into my laptop slot does it attach the notebook to a table or object to prevent people from picking up the notebook and run away?

    Is it beneficial and as good as the site says it is? Is it a hassle to unlock and lock all the time? Thanks
