Anybody have any feedback on a carrying case? I'm in the market for one for my IBM T42 laptop. I want to be able to carry my MP3 player, mouse, powercord and extra batter. What do you think about the Kensington Simply Portable One Notebook Carrying Case (Model 62195)

Here's the link. Seems like a pretty good deal:

I also recently purchased a T42 laptop. I was very close to buying a topload case from Brenthaven but after looking at them at a nearby CompUSA, I decided against it. The construction was good but the flap on the sleeve for the laptop was going to be a pain for me since I take my laptop home every night and wanted something with quick access but also protected my big investment. I found a similar Kensington bag at CompUSA and also at Circuit City. Check out the link below. While the descriptions says it is for a 17" notebook, the only way to fit one this big in the inner sleeve is to stretch it around it. The T42 fits in perfectly and has just the right amount of pockets for all your accessories without being too big. The locking handle also makes it very easy to carry.

Do you think the laptop bag above is too cheap? I'd like some padding, but don't want it to be too heavy, while still being a quality product. It doesn't make sense to spend $2,000 on a laptop ony to have a cheap bag. What do you think?

The bag does not look or feel cheap. I agree when you pay this much for a laptop, it should be protected. The inner sleeve (also removable) does a very good job of protecting it. The bag looks professional.

Looks OK. I was looking for a top loading case.
