    I have bough the same one $5 one for the mac, and it was a lot thicker than the 20-30$ branded ones, and not too bad on a backlit keyboard, how well you can read the lettering on the keys without it, and did not fit 100% very slightly smaller, though it is worth the money.

    Thank you Tinderbox (UK) for the reply. Does anyone know if any US sites that sell the keyboard skins/covers? I don't feel like ordering mine from China if I can avoid that.

    All of the cheap ones are made in China.

    Usual suspects include Meritline, dealextreme, focalprice, Ebay, but they will mostly be shipping from Hong Kong/China anyway.
