    Hey everyone,

My Alienware M17x is arriving on the weekend :D very excited

I have my 42" TV on the wall directly in front of my bed, so I would love to plug in my laptop to the HDMI from my desk... And be able to lie on my bed with a keyboard and mouse to play some games :p

Could anybody give me thoughts or recommendations on this?

I already have a Razer Naga, so a keyboard with a USB plug would be ideal... But about the keyboard, wireless? or one with a long wire? :S

Thoughts? any specific keyboards to recommend?

    Greatly appreciate any comments :)

Get a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse.

if your laptop is near enough, I find the Razer Nostromo n52te perfect for my gaming habits this way.
(quite convenient to have all your controls and a D-PAD all in one hand) and your other hand on the mouse :D

Hmm I've seen the Nostromo and I like it but for this purpose I'd like a full keyboard so I can do everything laying from my bed :p any good wireless ones? or with like a 3 meter cable xD

I am using RAPOO 2.4GHz wireless keyboard and mouse kit, that woks perfectly. I think it suits you for operating on bed.
You can check this RAPOO slim wireless keyboard

But when I bought, there are more choices, I don't know but maybe something better there, you can select here

RAPOO? They are pretty low quality. The best thing about the brand is that their products are really cheap. Here that same wireless mouse and keyboard combo costs only $20, and for good reason. The best thing about that keyboard is solid aluminum backplate. It makes the keyboard sturdy compared to thin plastic keyboards. But the typing feel of the keyboard itself feels worse than most laptops. I don't have any experience with that particular bundled mouse, but a friend bought a RAPOO wireless mouse and it goes to sleep way too quickly and then requires too much time to wake back up. While apparently she can't notice it, it bugs me a lot to use her mouse.
