    Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has got recommendation for a keyboard skin for my newly bought Dell Studio 1537 (with international/US keyboard)

I googled but got hits to only ebay for silicone skins. They didn't look very good and searching on the forum said that those who have used it, cracked in just 6 months.

This is a security measure against a toddler spilling water or something on the keyboard.

    Thanks in advance.

Hey, I did a search also and hadn't seen anything recent on a skin for the 1537.

I found this one on ebay for $9.99 for the 1537.

Is this the one your looking at? The Seller has good feedback. And for $9.99 with free shipping, why not just try it out. You really have nothing to lose. It appears to be fairly decent! ;)

Then, you can try it out and see how well it works..and provide some feedback here on the forum for other Dell 1537 owners, or future owners! :D

In fact, this was the only thing I noticed. I read somewhere on the web that these look like hard plastic and are not 'very' transparent, crack in 6 months or so..
Hence, wanted to check if anybody has used anything else.

If you still have warranty then dont worry abt the keyboard. Just use it and when u feel u need to change it, contact dell and tell them ur some keys are not working and they gonna send u a new one and also let u put ur old one.
    Free skin. :)

Well, maybe just try and take care....If you have accidental on your 1537, you got yourself covered in that area. Otherwise..for $9.99 it's not bad for a *try out* :D
