Hi all, I have limited my choices to the Kinzu and Deathadder. Can you guys help me with my choice to buy one of these mouses.
Also, how are the Steelseries Siberia in-ears?

    Thanks

I would personally go for the DeathAdder, if only for the fact that it has two thumb buttons where the Kinzu has none. I've never used the Kinzu, but I've been very happy with my DeathAdder over the past few years.

I'll just say that as a deathadder owner, its a really good mouse. That being said I've never used Kinzu so just take it with a grain of salt.

Deathadder is more ergonomic, and the two thumb buttons can be very useful. But their rather similar mouse, the kinzu though has better driver support and build quality. I would go for the Deathadder, i need the thumb buttons.

    This.

Thumb buttons are a must for mice these days. In an FPS, you bind some "alternative" attack like a melee or grenade to them. In other games, you bind them as your push-to-talk button. And in desktop use, they are used to go forward / back on your web browser.

A few years ago, Logitech released its G5 mouse, and it had only 1 thumb button. And people were ready to revolt. So yes, thumb buttons are important. Get a mouse with at least 2.

ive owned 3 ikaris (2 laser 1 optical) i returned the optical because it was broken out of the box, i returned 1 laser because the laser didnt track on my steelpad 5l (which saids on the box that its made for ikari...) and my other one broke after 6month.

ive had 2 deathadders, the first one broke after almost 2years, got another one after my ikari died and using it ever since (7month so far).

the ikari is better in every single aspect to me, but its more expensive and if you have bad luck you will end up with broken stuff that you cant even rma without paying 20dollars for shipping (plus u have to buy another mouse for the super long rma period)

for me ikari>deathadder>kinzu, just hope yours dont break.

My ikari has had no problems. Im using the Laser version and the tracking is pretty much perfect on my razer exactmat. To me the ikari laser is by far superior to the deathadder, better shape, better build quality, excellent driver support and more important a DPI on-the-fly button.

mine first laser ikari wouldnt track on my razer pro solutions pad (basically a exactmat but white) or my steelseries 5L. the cursor would just move on its own for funzies but i was able to return it to the ncix because they have a good 30day exchange.

like i said the ikari is a far better mouse its just the quality that concerns me. but if you buy locally or at a online store with good exchange policy then its fine. just have to test to make sure it isnt DOA.

to OP, dont buy those headphones they are trash. actually dont buy any cheap steelseries products because their quality is garbage (except mousepad, the 5L is by far the best pad ive used). my last setup was nearly 100% steelseries (6gv2 mechanical keyboard, ikari, 5h headphones, 5L mousepad) and 3 of those 4 products i regret buying. the keyboard has a terrible delay and my 5h headphones broke in half after i dropped it from my desk (like 2 feet from the ground.... so much for steelseries)
