I have the E1705 and a desktop comp. I want to get a LCD Monitor that I can use for both at about under 250.00$, any sugestions or good deals that anybody know off?
And my second question what else would I need to switch from desktop to laptop that works good, if anyone have sep up like that or is it a bad idea to use it for both?
I'm moving to a small house and I need to compact as much as a can so my perfect idea is to have my desktop at home and when I get home to put my E1705 on a dockstation without pluging wires and network both computers, so can it be done and what would I need?

a kvm switch to use as a monitor for both... as for the monitor there are plenty of deals that can be found by checking out fatwallet.com and slickdeals.net... try those?

Thank you for the reply and I will look for kvm switch, and do they sell the switch at a retail store or is a on line only item?

You could also find a monitor that has seperate VGA and HDMI inputs and use the digital input for one source, VGA for the other, assuming one of your sources has a digital output.
