To use the 360 with a LCD monitor, you would need the xbox 360 VGA cable.

well if you wanted to use a LCD Monitor as a tv without using a computer, you would buy a LCD TV that has a tuner, or use ur monitor hooked to a cable box. But if your looking to 360 on it, you could always hook the 360 to the monitor (VGA) then use a Media center PC and use the 360 to be the media center extender and watch TV thru the 360.

If you want to use the LCD w/o the computer, then you would need to buy a TV Tuner that has a vga/dvi out. There are a couple online for like 50-60 bux, and all you do is plug in the cable feed from wherever into that box, and then using the blue vga connector to plug in ur monitor.

I don't think a plain ol' cable box has the option to plug into a monitor that has no TV Tuner, so like fox said, either get one with a built in tuner, or get urself one of these boxes. But an tunerless LCD straight into a cable box won't work because those have nothing to connect to an LCD (dvi/vga)

all u need is the vga cable that is sold by microsoft. it sells around $40USD and is ok i guess. the max res is 1366×768. i would recommend trying to find a monitor with the resolution of 1280 x 1024. that is the best quality that u can get with the vga cable.
