The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anyone used or know anything about these?

    They look nifty, and 29.99 isn't too bad if it stops scorched legs and keeps my laptop a little cooler. Also, gives me a decent working area for a 17" laptop with a mouse.

    However it looks very similar to the targus lapdesk, which by almost every review I've read, is useless.

    Any input would be great, I'm highly considering buying one of these as it'll make finding a comfortable work area at my firestation (I do real estate work while I'm there and game some, sue me haha) a lot easier than trying to fight for one of the three desks available to like 10+ people. :)
