This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi all! Just wanted to share my bad experience with Lappymats as a cautionary tale.

    I placed an order two weeks ago and paid with PayPal. Nothing was ever shipped, and no one at the company returns my e-mails or phone calls. I've opened a dispute with PayPal, which undoubtedly will go my way as they haven't answered that either, so my advice: if you shop from them, make sure your payment is protected!

    Gonna try Shaggymac when I get my refund.
