    Hello,

Does anyone out there know of a company that offers a product for laptops like what this company offers for cameras?

    http://www.cameraarmor.us/

I am looking for a silicone type plastic wrap for my laptop.

    Thanks!

it depends on what laptop you have. I know they make this type of armor for macbooks and macbook pros. I haven't found any for other companies yet but I would be surprised if they didn't exist.

Great Point, it would be for a Dell M1530.

Great question I am waiting for an answer too

In India, XPS is costing me a fortune and I will definitely want something which can shield my laptop...though I will have the Dell warranty for 3 years :D

I haven't seen such a thing, and I can just imagine the weird look it would have with those robber wrap-up.

If you are looking for a weather, environment, shock resistant laptop, get a Panasonic rough notebook.

It is tough, it can take you being rough. A roughbook would have to some how beat you up. ;)

That's the notebook I will buy when they catch up on CPU speed and features, you don't need a case or any protection, some have even a handle, they are just incredible, a bit expensive though.

My TB-30 is equipped pretty good. The speed is not even a thought. All I know is it does everything I need it to do, plus I dont need a case to protect it. I think 1 thing that gives the TB the slow reputation is when you look at the base model it is bare. jowever you configure it too how you want it.
