Surely people own some kind of baggage for their laptops? :D

Not all that many UK members on this forum though. :) I recently bought a Timbuk2 Outtawhack which fits your description pretty well. But I am unsure about availability in the UK. And since ebag UK has gone out of business...its pretty hard to find a good selection quickly.

I've got a Wenger Bag - very happy with it.

My best suggestion is, go to Staples and have a look at their range.

    (Don't get their instore brand though - I wouldn't trust it :D)

I use a Targus 17" rolling laptop bag. It is BIG. It's supposed to be for travel so it has an area that is designed for overnight clothes, but I use it for my accessories. It also has a flap in the front for your typical office/laptop accessories. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks but so far it's worked out well.

    Hi thanks for the replies.

Not really much to look at in the UK, seen a Pakuma (sp) in Comet for £50, backpack type, but it looked so small even though it said up to 17".

Going back this week with me lappy and see if it fits.

Timbuk2 ship internationally - bought a Timbuk2 XS Messenger as a 'go anywhere' bag a few months ago and they shipped to Australia no worries - shipping wasn't even ridiculously exhorbitant either :D

I would think they will also ship to the UK if they ship all the way here lol

If you are after a messenger style of bag there is always Crumpler, Booq, J-Fold, Acme, Oxio Style to name a few, these are all cheaper brands but offer pretty good value for money.

Then of course there are more 'premium' bags :D

I have a Belkin energy slim for my studio 17 and love it... not a lot of room for files but it will hold some and lots of room for accessories. It's really sleek and nicely made i paid about 40 dollars for it however that converts and I believe they ship internationally... might check that out I love mine!

i use a Ogio bag for my HP DV7t 17", PSU, mouse and i can also fit a 1.5" Binder in there along with a 5 subject notebook.. i use it to go to school, it also has little compartments for pens, a file organizer, and other compartments for other things (im sure you can find room for your ipod or w.e)
